A strange situation arose in the marriage of 20-year-old Korik Akbar in Indonesia when his girlfriend also arrived there and started demanding the young man to marry her too.
The background to the incident, which became popular on Indonesian social media a few days ago, is that in the area of Central Lombok Regency, Korik Akbar had been dating a young woman named Juanita since 2016, but his family did not know this.
So, after he got engaged to another girl, Kotemah, Akbar arranged the date of marriage.
Kotemah happily shared her engagement and marriage post on her social media account with which she also tagged Korik Akbar. In this way, the news reached Juanita, but she remained completely silent.
But while Akbar's marriage was going on, Ivanita also reached there and started arguing with Akbar.
She said that she would not allow Akbar to end her old relationship but would continue to marry him. Even if she became his second wife.
Before the situation got out of hand, Korek Akbar's fianc کوe Kotimah wisely said that she had no objection to Yuvanita becoming Akbar's second wife.
In the next few hours, with the family's consultation, the issue was resolved, and the young man became two wives in one wedding ceremony.
It was decided that Akbar would pay a dowry of 1.75 million Indonesian rupees (about 20,000 Pakistani rupees) to each of his two wives.
According to Indonesian media reports, Korik Akbar is currently unemployed and is going to Malaysia to try his luck. However, he has left the responsibility of his family to his two wives.
Kotemah and Juanita are not only laughing happily with each other, but they are also ready to take charge of the entire house in her husband's absence.
This unique "double marriage" has been hotly debated on Indonesian social media, with many calling it a wrong move.
In this regard, Akbar himself says that the example he has set should not be followed because managing two wives at the same time is a very difficult task, especially for an unemployed person.
