In the case of harassment of a girl in Greater Iqbal Park, a notification was issued to remove DIG Operations Sajid Kayani from his post.
According to private TV, the notification said that DIG Operations Lahore Sajid Kayani has been removed from his post and his services have been handed over to the Services and General Administration Department.
Earlier, on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, a notification has also been issued for the appointment of new officers in place of the police officers who were removed from their posts yesterday. SP City and Atif Meraj have been posted as DSP Badami Bagh.
