The United States is monitoring two Iranian warships heading for Venezuela.
According to Al-Arabiya News, three informed people, on condition of anonymity, said that an Iranian frigate and a Makran ship were currently heading south on the east coast of Africa. It should be noted that the Makran ship was previously an oil tanker which was converted into a floating base. They will eventually turn to Venezuela, and the presence of Iranian warships in the direction of Venezuela will be a challenge for US officials in the region.
According to a report by the Iranian military, the Makran ship weighs 1.21 million tons. It also has a huge helipad for helicopters. The ship can carry five helicopters at a time and 82,000 tons of combat equipment. The ship is capable of spending a thousand days and nights floating in the water without reaching shore.
