According to US media, seven people, including actor William Joseph Laura and his wife, who played the hero in the popular film series Tarzan, released in the 90s, were killed in the plane crash. William Joseph, 58, began his career as a model, starring in the 1989 film Tarzan in Manhattan, and then between 1996 and 1997. The Apex Adventure series set new records for popularity.
According to US officials, the small private passenger plane had seven people on board. The plane took off from Samrana Airport in Tennessee, but crashed into a nearby lake shortly afterwards. The rescue operation was launched while the investigation into the accident is underway.
