The government has decided to increase the prices of petroleum products from June 1.
According to private TV, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division to increase the prices of petroleum products from June 1.
Sources said that OGRA has proposed an increase of Rs 4.30 per liter in the price of diesel. In addition, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol and kerosene. The final decision on setting new prices for petroleum products will be taken by the Finance Ministry in consultation with the Prime Minister.
