Two military planes collide in Taiwan

Two military planes have crashed in Taiwan, killing one pilot and searching for another.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, two Taiwanese Air Force fighter jets F-5E Greenwich Mean Time disappeared from the radar screener at 3 pm.

One pilot was found unconscious at sea and was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment, while the search for another pilot continued.

Police say a seat was found lying on a local highway with a parachute attached.

It should be noted that in the last few years, Taiwanese fighter jets have suffered many accidents, and the Taiwanese air force is also under constant pressure from China.

Another F-5E fighter jet crashed in October last year, killing one pilot.

One month after the incident, Taiwan temporarily grounded all F-16 fighter jets for safety checks.
