Award-winning Bollywood actress Mithan Chakraborty also entered politics and announced her joining the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
According to details, well-known Indian editor Mithan Chakraborty arrived at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata where a BJP rally was to be held. Mithan was received by BJP general secretary Kailash Vijay along with other leaders. Kailash Vijay, the party's election in-charge in the state, wore the party's tricolor to the 70-year-old actor.
