The meeting, chaired by NCOC chief Asad Umar and coordinator Lt. Gen. Hamoodul Zaman Khan, discussed the situation of growing corona cases in the provinces and related measures, progress on vaccination, and national vaccine strategy. The meeting was attended by provincial representatives through video link.
The NCOC reviewed the growing number of positive cases of corona across the country and the forum directed the provincial administration to ensure strict implementation of safety measures at the grassroots level. In view of the cases, the NCOC will review ways to open schools at today's meeting.
It should be noted that there was a possibility of opening wedding ceremonies and restaurants inside cinemas and halls from March 15.
