According to details, a 10-point agenda of today's meeting has been issued. In this regard, the Secretary Senate has also issued a formal notification. According to the agenda, the meeting of the Senate will be held on Friday at 10 am. The newly elected senators will take oath in the meeting. Nomination papers of Chairman and Deputy Chairman will be submitted after Friday prayers. Voting for Chairman and Deputy Chairman will be held at 3 o'clock.
According to the legal procedure, the first chairman of the senate will be elected. This election will be conducted by Senator Muzaffar Hussain Shah, his name has been approved by the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi. After the election of Chairman Senate, he will take his seat and will elect Deputy Chairman Senate.
