On the information of RO, the Chief Election Commissioner tried to contact the IG and Deputy Commissioner but no reply was received. The Chief Secretary was contacted at 3 pm and the Presiding Officer with the polling bag was present at 6 pm. The RO and DRO suspected that the results of the base polling station had been altered, which led to the withholding of the results.
