Petrol prices increased once again.

 

The government has once again announced an increase in petroleum products, an increase of three rupees 54 paise.

According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs2.70 per liter, high speed diesel by Rs2.88 per liter, kerosene by Rs3.54 per liter and light diesel by Rs3 per liter. Had sent a summary of increase in prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division, according to which it was proposed to increase the price of petrol by up to Rs 12 per liter.

In the summary sent to the Petroleum Division by OGRA, it was recommended to increase the price of diesel by Rs 10, kerosene by Rs 7 and light diesel by Rs 5.5 per liter. OGRA had prepared the summary on the basis of Rs 30 per liter levy. Petrol is currently levied at Rs 21.56 per liter while diesel is currently levied at Rs 23.9 per liter.
