Classes from 1st to 8th have started across the country, educational activities have also been revived in universities, a large number of children have been happy with the opening of schools, the government has declared implementation of Corona SOPs in educational institutions mandatory.

Classes have started in schools from 1st to 8th while in colleges and universities from 3rd year to PhD. The children expressed happiness at the opening of the educational institution.
According to the Department of School Education and Higher Education, students will be called on alternate days. Schools and colleges are teaching according to the smart curriculum, while some universities will have online and some will have on-campus student exams. Implementation of Corona SOPs has been made mandatory in all educational institutions.
Educational institutions were closed on November 26, 2020, as the second wave of Corona intensified. Schools, colleges and universities have been allowed to open when the situation improves.
On the other hand, new SOPs were issued by the Punjab government in view of the changing situation regarding Corona virus. According to the notification, 50% of all public and private sector employees will work from home.
The ban on closing food points, restaurants at 10 pm was lifted. All dining points can be kept open after 10 p.m. Restaurants, hotels and all kinds of food points can only arrange food and drink in open spaces.
All parks, recreational areas will be closed at 6 p.m. Arrangements for weddings and other celebrations will also be made only in open spaces. Strict legal action will be taken against institutions and food points violating the guidelines.
