Naseer Turabi, the creator of the famous ghazal, "Wo Humsafar Tha Mager Os se Humnawai Na Thee", died of a heart attack at the age of 75. Naseer Turabi was the son of the famous Zakir and Khatib Allama Rashid Turabi.
According to details, the death of a renowned poet and intellectual Naseer Turabi has been confirmed by his family. Naseer Turabi's funeral prayers will be offered on Monday after noon prayers at Khairul Amal Ancholi Mosque. Naseer Turabi on June 15, 1945 in Hyderabad State. Born in Deccan, came to Pakistan after Partition of India. He did his MA in Public Relations from Karachi University in 1968 and started writing poetry in 1962.
His first collection of Kalam Aks Faryadi was published in 2000. He joined the Eastern Federal Union Insurance Company and became a public relations officer. Naseer Turabi's famous general books Aks-e-Faryadi (Ghazals), Poetry (containing discussions and spellings on poetry) and Larib (Naat, Manqabat, Salam) Received Allama Iqbal Award from Literature Pakistan. Naseer Turabi's famous ghazal "Hum Safar" written on the occasion of the fall of Dhaka set new records of fame all over the world and despite the passage of many decades, this ghazal is still popular today.
