Former Finance Minister Muftah Ismail has said that the PTI government has stopped the maintenance work of power plants while N-1 is also suffering from disruption which led to power breakdown.
Referring to the ongoing power breakdown across the country, PML-N leader and former finance minister Muftah Ismail said in a tweet that the PML-N had started a system of care, under which important points like Guddu, This included cleaning of insulators in Jamshoro, Muzaffargarh, etc., checking of safety parameters and special coating at important places, but the PTI government failed to do maintenance this summer.
He further said that PML-N had also started 'One One' system stability process. The advantage of this was that even if a major power plant breaks down, the system would continue to operate, but PTI also stopped this work. Although the credibility of Imran Khan and his team is doubtful, it is also clear that these people are incompetent.
