We sacrificed 83,000 lives, India did anti-Pakistan propaganda during this time, DG ISPR

 

Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director General (DG ISPR), Pakistan Army Public Relations, says that Pakistan has fought the war on terror and sacrificed 83,000 lives in the last two decades, but India He launched a full-fledged propaganda campaign against Pakistan and tried to harm Pakistan on the terrorist and diplomatic fronts.

Addressing a keynote press conference at the ISPR headquarters, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that in the last two decades, Pakistan had successfully fought the war on terror and proved to be a responsible state. More than 18,000 terrorists were wiped out from Pakistan. Not only legislation was enacted to stop the flow of terrorist organizations but also action was taken against them under a comprehensive strategy. More than 1,100 al-Qaeda terrorists were captured or killed during this period. In this war on terror, Pakistan sacrificed more than 83,000 precious lives and suffered an economic loss of up to 6 126 billion.

He said that during the last two decades, India has increased violations of the ceasefire agreement on the eastern border and has targeted the civilian population 3097 times in provocations on the border, killing 28 civilians and injuring 257. Violations increased the most between 2014 and 2020, with India violating the ceasefire agreement the most in 2019, and Indian provocations in 2018 injuring the most civilians. The Pakistan Army always gave a full response to India which resulted in heavy loss of life and property. After failing in the conventional war, India resorted to the Fifth Generation Warfare. Evidence of Indian terrorism in Pakistan was brought to the notice of the world.

He said that the network of fake websites was provided with content through India's news agency ANI, after which the content was being used for anti-Pakistan statements. India worked against Pakistan on terrorism, economy, Kashmir, social issues, diplomatic and social fronts. This was the highest level of propaganda and it was happening with the backing of the Indian state.

According to DG ISPR, on the one hand, India concealed its aggression on the Kashmir front and on the other hand, fake material was spread. India personally visited the members of the European Parliament in Kashmir and it was declared an official visit. ۔

Talking about India's violation of the ceasefire agreement, the DG ISPR said that over the past two decades, India has increased provocations on the eastern border, human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. In February 2019, he tried unsuccessfully to launch an aggression against Pakistan. The world saw evidence of money laundering and terror financing of 44 Indian banks. India's propaganda against Pakistan has come to light in the report of EU Info Lab. All these fake networks were run by Shri Vastu Group which had been running through fake media outlets for 15 years. Anti-Pakistan events were organized in the European Union through fake NGOs and Pakistan's reputation was tarnished.
