Lady Marie Coleman, first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, has died at the age of 88.
According to foreign media reports, Lady Marie Coleman died of natural causes at her home in Norfolk.
The Queen's cousin Lady Mary Coleman was a regular guest at Balmoral and Sandringham.
A statement from the family said, "Lady Marie Coleman passed away on January 2, 2021.
Lady Marie Coleman was the wife of Sir Timothy Coleman KG and the mother of Sarah, Sabrina, Emma, James and Matthew.
A statement from the family said a ceremony would be held in recognition of Lady Marie Coleman's last rites and services in her life.
Foreign media reports say that Queen Lady Marie was very close because she often visited the royal family's Balmoral and Sandringham Estates.
