SP Ayesha Butt of Punjab Police spoke against her own department. SP Ayesha Butt has expressed her feelings on social networking site Twitter but later deleted the tweet.
In her tweet, SP Ayesha Butt said that personal preference is ruining transfer and posting departments on the basis of dislike, the career of officers is also being affected on the basis of dislike. He was accused of corruption and non-functioning to cover up the incident. Ayesha Butt is posted as SP Training at the Police Training College, who said that the same is done in other departments as well. The tweet was deleted.
SP Ayesha Butt's husband Abdul Wahab has been posted as SP Investigation in Lahore. Sources said that Abdul Wahab was posted at the behest of former CCPO Umar Sheikh, however, Omar Sheikh posted the couple together. Sources also said that Ayesha Butt had also recommended SP Investigation Model Town on the departure of Dr Anosh and Bilal Qayyum but they did not get the posting.
