The start of 2021 did not bode well for WhatsApp, and the new privacy policy severely damaged the messaging app's reputation.
Many WhatsApp users have turned to alternatives such as Signal and Telegram, while Facebook's proprietary app is having trouble convincing people that their private chats are still secure.
WhatsApp is testing voice and video calls on the web version and the desktop app, and this feature is now available to users in beta.
WhatsApp update tracking site WABetaInfo said that the call feature in the web version of WhatsApp beta is available to more users.
According to the report, WhatsApp is working on the development of this feature and that is why it is not available to all users in web and desktop versions.

However, this new development indicates that this feature will soon be available to all users.
This feature will be very helpful for users who use the web version of WhatsApp more.
Earlier, a report in this regard was released in October 2020.
At the time, WABetaInfo shared screenshots of voice and video calling options on the WhatsApp web that were similar to recent screenshots.
This feature will bring up a pop-up window when the WhatsApp is called on the web with a username, profile picture and call, video / audio and mute buttons.
