A case has been registered against the students of 'LUMS' University who went for tourism in Malam Jabba on the charge of engaging in obscene activities. Karan has been charged with obscenity and violation of Corona SOPs, while a case has been registered against the hotel owner and manager for providing loudspeakers.
After the video of the dance surfaced on the internet, the police took notice of the incident and investigated the whole matter, after which the Hotel Act, Loudspeaker Act, 33 NDMA and A case was registered against hotel owner Fazal Khan and manager Hasnain Ehsan under PRC 294. The accused were produced in the court of sub-divisional magistrate after detention where the hotel owner and manager were fined Rs 40,000 by the court. He was later released. Police also registered a case against the students for committing obscene acts and violating Corona SOPs, after which they are looking for 30 to 40 unidentified tourists.
