Facebook has blocked President Trump's account indefinitely. Trump's Facebook account will remain suspended until at least the newly elected US President Joe Biden takes office.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg says the dangers posed by allowing Trump to use Facebook in the current situation are greater. Comments in support were blocked for 24 hours.
According to The Independent Urdu, the social media accounts of the US President were temporarily shut down after Trump supporters stormed Capitol Hill. The Instagram account of US President Donald Trump will also remain closed for two weeks.
