Additional District Magistrate will inquire into the death of the youth in police firing.
According to the notification, the Additional District Magistrate will submit the inquiry report within 5 days.
In Islamabad, the death of a young man in a car due to police firing became a mystery. According to initial reports, the young man was shot 22 times. The father said that the police had admitted that the child was innocent.
Osama's father, who was riding in the car, told the media that his son was shot 16 or 17 times, killing him.
Osama Nadeem's father said that the police admitted that the child was innocent and a case of terrorism should be registered against the policemen involved.
He said that by firing on the windscreen instead of tires, he openly committed terrorism.
On the other hand, according to the initial report of the police, the CTD personnel reached the spot on the report of a robbery in H13. The CTD personnel tried to stop a vehicle, but when they did not stop, the personnel chased the vehicle.
The sub-inspector said that the driver of the vehicle opened fire on him and the officers returned fire. The youth was hit by 22 bullets.
A copy of the initial police report on the incident has also come to light stating that a sub-inspector and four youths were on board the CTD vehicle.
CTD personnel tried to stop the vehicle, but when it did not stop, the officers chased the vehicle. The sub-inspector said that the driver of the vehicle opened fire on them.
The initial report also said that no weapons were found in the vehicle. The youth's name is Osama Nadeem and he was a student of Virtual University.
According to police sources, the five officers have been taken into custody.
