A 13-year-old girl has been gang-raped three times in less than 24 hours by nine people in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. She is suffering from mental stress and is not able to speak properly.
According to the Times of India, the girl has recorded her statement and the police have arrested seven of the nine accused while searching for the other two, the news reported in the media yesterday. The 13-year-old girl is a 9th-grade student who went out on the evening of January 11 to pick up some belongings but was abducted by two truck drivers and taken to the jungle where she was raped. Gaya, the truck drivers tied her up and put her in their car and took her hostage to a Dhaba. The girl was raped again on the dhaba and the owner of the Dhaba was also involved in the crime along with four other truck drivers.
The girl was held hostage and this heinous game was played with her all night until the girl lost consciousness. The truck drivers tied her back the next morning and put her in the car and set off on the journey. There was a plan to play more ugly games with the girl. When she regained consciousness, she begged him to leave. Despite her pleading, the driver raped her inside the moving truck and then hit her on the road. They threw it in the middle and fled.
The gruesome game with the 13-year-old girl did not end there, but when she was asking for help from people lying injured on the road, no one helped her. He sat down and started walking towards Umaria. Instead of helping the girl, the truck driver also fell prey to his lust and fled after throwing her in the city.
The girl's parents say that when their daughter did not come home all night, they decided to contact the police. The truck driver threw the girl near the town of Umaria, where the girl called for help from nearby police officers. She was rushed to a hospital. Police said the girl was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment.
The girl was given counseling by doctors for 20 hours after which she agreed to speak. During the counseling, the girl also said that 5 out of 9 people who had sexually assaulted her had died on January 4. She had played the same ugly game with him but due to fear, she could not tell anyone. Police said they ambushed and abducted the girl again a week later. Doctors said the girl was not seriously injured internally but would still take time to recover.
