How expensive petrol is going to be from February 1

 

The government is preparing to raise the prices of petroleum products once again from February 1. The prices of petroleum products are likely to increase by up to Rs 12 per liter from the beginning of February.

According to the details, OGRA has sent a summary of increase in prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division. In the summary, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter while diesel by Rs 10 per liter, kerosene by Rs 7 and light diesel. It has been recommended to increase the price.

The final approval for the price hike will be given by Prime Minister Umar In Khan. OGRA has prepared a summary on the basis of levy of Rs 30 per liter. Petrol is currently levied at Rs 21.56 per liter while diesel is levied at Rs 23.9 per liter.
