A virtual meeting of the FATF Joint Group on Pakistan will be held today. Pakistan's performance so far will be discussed in the FATF meeting.

The United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan and China will attend the meeting. New Zealand, Australia, India and Bhutan will also attend the meeting. Bhutan has recently joined the group at India's insistence.

Sources said that measures to curb terrorist financing would be scrutinized, a briefing would be given on Pakistan's steps taken so far, and the recent punishments of those on the UN list would also be mentioned.

Sources said that the report will be presented in the FATF plenary meeting next month. The plenary meeting will decide whether to remain in the gray list of Pakistan or not. Pakistan has fully implemented 21 out of 27 points of FATF.
