A major drug dealer has been arrested while investigating the drug aspect in the suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to Indian media, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Regal Mahakal, a key drug peddler, during an investigation into drug use in Bollywood. According to officials, drugs worth Rs 2.5 crore were recovered from the possession of the accused. Authorities also claim that a drug cartel in Bollywood has been disbanded following Mahakal's arrest.
Mahakal and his accomplice Kaizan have already been arrested on the basis of information provided by accused Azam Sheikh. The accused used to sell drugs to actress Riya Chakraborty's brother Shouk Chakraborty.
It may be recalled that the NCB had arrested Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend actress Riya Chakraborty and his brother Shouk Chakraborty on drug charges. The actress was granted bail in a few days but her brother Shouk has been granted bail in the last few months.
