There has been a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bill Gates. The Prime Minister had a detailed discussion with Corona on the impact on the economy. The Prime Minister briefed Gates on the measures taken against Cocorona and the smart lockdown policy.
Talking to him, PM Imran Khan said that Korona is committed to deal with the second wave effectively. SOPs need to be implemented effectively.
The Prime Minister said that cooperation with the Gates Foundation's Ehsas program would help the poor. He praised the Gates Foundation's commitment to developing coronaviruses in developing countries. The Prime Minister further said that Pakistan is committed to eradicating polio.
