Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, the rebel leader of JUI-F, has said that it was not Maulana Fazlur Rehman who violated the party constitution.
According to private TV, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said that Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani is one of the founding members. We had joined the Jamiat before Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has violated the party constitution and we have not yet received any show-cause notice from the party. "We are not going anywhere, people are coming to us," he claimed. Earlier, Maulana Shuja Malik also said that the party membership was suspended without listening to us.
It may be recalled that the disciplinary committee terminated the membership of the concerned members on the ground of violation of party discipline by the members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami Fata.
