Leading Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal told the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during an interrogation at his residence about the drug case that the Arjun was looking for another Arjun.
The Indian actor's house was raided in November this year in a drug case where electronic gadgets and illicit drugs were seized from the actor's house during the raid.
During the interrogation, the actor was questioned about illicit drugs, to which Arjun Rampal told the Narcotics Control Bureau that one of the illicit pills was prescribed by a doctor for his dog and the other for his sister Anzati. Uses as SOS as prescribed by a New Delhi based psychiatrist.
According to reports, the drug agency found Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriela Demetrius' brother Aguilarus Demetrius talking to a person by the name of Arjun on WhatsApp and concluded that he is an actor.
During the interrogation, actor Arjun Rampal also told NCB officials that the person his brother-in-law spoke to was actually someone else.
It is to be noted that in October this year, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the house of the actor's girlfriend's brother and allegedly confiscated drugs from the house.
According to reports, the drug related to the death of actor Shashant Singh, the brother of the Indian actor's girlfriend, has been part of the nexus.
It may be recalled that the issue of drug use in Bollywood came to light after the suicide of actor Shashant Singh Rajput who committed suicide in his flat on June 14 this year.
A drug case also came to light during the investigation into his death, after which Deepika Padukone, Shardha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were also summoned in the case.
