Four Pakistan Army personnel, including two majors, were martyred when a helicopter crashed during an operation to transfer the body of a Pakistan Army soldier to Khaki Skardu.
According to ISPR, the body of martyred soldier Abdul Qadir was being transported to Khaki CMH Skardu by a Pakistan Army helicopter. On the way, the helicopter crashed near Basti Mani Marg and crashed. In this tragic accident, four young men including two officers of Pak Army were martyred. The martyred personnel have been identified as Pilot Major Muhammad Hussain, Assistant Pilot Major Ayaz Hussain, Naik Inzamam Alam and Cop Muhammad Farooq.
According to ISPR, the pilot Major Ayaz Hussain was married and Malir was a resident of Karachi while Major Muhammad Hussain was also married and a resident of Khablo area of Skardu. Naik Inzamam belonged to Chakwal district of Punjab while soldier Farooq belonged to Sahiwal district of Punjab.
