A 51-year-old woman in the United States has given birth to her granddaughter.
Julie Long, 51, of Illinois, gave birth to a granddaughter for her infertile daughter, Brianna Lockwood, on November 2.
The baby was healthy at birth and was named Briar Juliet Lockwood.
She is also the first child of Brianna Lockwood and her husband Aaron.
Brianna Lockwood said in an interview about the birth of her daughter that it was definitely a good experience, during which I was overwhelmed by emotions, my mother did all this for me and is still doing it.
The baby was born by caesarean section because Julie Loong had some problems.
According to Brianna Lockwood, "My mother had some problems during her pregnancy, but she did her job well. It was a very emotional day."
The couple tied the knot in 2016 and have been wanting Ola ever since, but after several abortions and surgeries, doctors advised her to have surrogacy.
Brianna Lockwood said in an interview earlier this year: "Struggling with infertility has been the hardest part of my life. It was like '.
The doctor advised her to find a family member or friend for surrogacy, as doing so through an agency could cost more than a million dollars.
But Brianna never thought her 51-year-old mother would do it, but she was the first to tell her daughter.
