In October, 10,260 new companies registered in Turkey and started new businesses.
According to the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchange, the registration of new companies has decreased by 3.23% compared to October last year. One thousand 261 companies closed their business this month. The number of companies closing down is 5.71% higher than the same period last year.
In October, 1,123 companies were set up with the participation of foreign investors. 159 cooperative companies were also opened.
A total of 84,172 new companies were registered in the first ten months of this year. This is 22.84% more than last year. From January to October, 11,390 companies closed. The number of companies closing down is 10.15% higher than last year.
