Shoaib Malik's Jaffna Staliner easily completed the target in the last over after chasing the Gladiators' 176 in the second match of the Sri Lankan Premier League.
Oshka Fernando from Jaffna Stallions scored an unbeaten 92 off 63 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 5 fours and remained unbeaten, while Shoaib Malik played an innings of 27 runs. The Jaffna Stallions include Pakistan's Shoaib Malik, while the Gladiators include Shahid Afridi, fast bowler Mohammad Amir and Quetta Gladiators' Azam Khan.
Earlier, batting first, the Gladiators scored 175 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Cheek Gladiators captain Shahid Afridi scored 58 off 23 balls, hitting six sixes and three fours during his offensive innings. Gonathalka scored 38 while Azam Khan scored 20 for the Gladiators.
