4,544 employees of Pakistan Steel Mills have been sacked. According to the spokesperson of Steel Mills, Pay Group 2, 3, 4 and JOs have been sacked while Assistant Manager and Divisional Manager have also been sacked. According to the spokesperson, DCE, DGM, managers have also been sacked and letters of dismissal have been sent to the employees by post. According to the spokesperson, the staff of the school and college of Steel Mill have not been sacked while Corporate secretaries of departments were not fired.
