The Indian Bureau of Narcotics Control has arrested Indian comedian Bharti Singh on charges of using illicit drugs.
According to Indian media reports, the NCB is investigating the use of drugs in Bollywood and Bharti Singh and her husband were also questioned in this regard. A search of Bharti Singh's Mumbai home turned up 86.5 grams of hashish. During the interrogation, Bharti and her husband Harsh Lambachhia confessed to using cannabis. According to the NCB, Bharti Singh has been arrested immediately while her husband Harsh is undergoing a medical check-up.
