The government has announced the closure of all educational institutions for a month from November 26 in view of the growing number of cases of the corona.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that in view of increasing cases of Corona epidemic, it has been decided to close all educational institutions from November 26. Online education will continue in educational institutions from November 26 to December 24. There will be winter holidays from December 25 to January 10. There will be a review in the first week of January after which all educational institutions will reopen on January 11.
Shafqat Mehmood said that in educational institutions where education is conducted online, teachers will provide homework whereas this facility is not available. According to Shafqat Mehmood, it has been recommended to conduct board examinations in Komai in March and April. One-third of the students of university hostels will be able to stay in hostels and the tests for jobs will continue.
