India: Son kills father for job

 

In India, a man killed his father out of sympathy to get a government job.

According to Indian media reports, the incident took place in the Ramgarh area of ​​Jharkhand state.

Police say the 35-year-old's father worked for Central Coal Field Limited (CCL).

Krishna Ram, 55, was found mutilated at CCL's Central Workshop, police said.

Authorities say the man was killed by his eldest son, who is about 35 years old.

Police said a murder device and the deceased's mobile phone were also recovered from the scene.

 During the interrogation, Krishna Ram's eldest son confessed to killing his father, the police officer said.

The accused said that he killed his father to get a job out of sympathy.

Police officials said that according to CCL regulations if an employee dies while in service, his legal heir is given the job after his death.
