Foreign Minister and Pakistan Army Joint Press Conference: Evidence of Indian Terrorism Presented

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar in a joint press conference presented evidence of terrorism and financial support to terrorists from India and also issued a dossier in this regard.

In a press conference along with Major General Babar Iftikhar in Islamabad, the Foreign Minister said that he condemned the cowardly action taken by India on the Line of Control (LoC) yesterday in which our innocent civilians were targeted.

You see, for some time now it has been their policy to continue violating the ceasefire. This is the most important agreement that was reached between Pakistan and India and the manner in which it violated it. They are blowing up in front of the nation.

He said that the purpose of today's press conference is to expose the true face of India to the nation and the international community, the journey you are witnessing, which starts with secularism and today it is a fashion. Has taken shape and is now visible to the world.

Shah Mehmood said that the state which claimed to be the largest democracy in the world, is going to take the form of a rebellious and ruthless nation according to our information through its actions and deeds.

"We have credible information and evidence on the basis of which I can say that India is fomenting state terrorism. India has a plan to destabilize Pakistan," he said.

The Foreign Minister said that this concern is not new to me, from time to time at various levels and forums I have been expressing it and using diplomatic means but now is the time to take the nation, especially the international community, into confidence. I think that further silence will not be in the interest of Pakistan and not in the interest of peace and stability in the region.

He said that Pakistan's remarkable achievements against terrorism, our successful operations could not be digested by India and their plan was now clear.

He said that after 9/11 Pakistan became a front line state for which we paid a heavy price, it is acknowledged but it is not as much as it should be.

During the press conference, he also showed a graph through projector slides in which the statistics of terrorist attacks in Pakistan from 2001 to 2020 were also shown.

He said that 19,130 terrorist attacks were borne by Pakistanis during this period, more than 83,000 people were killed and injured and there were 32,000 martyrs including 23,000 unarmed civilians, children and women.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that if we look at the financial losses, according to a conservative estimate, Pakistan has lost more than 126 billion dollars and I do not look at the economic opportunities that are lost because it is not easy to count.

He said that while Pakistan was playing its role in achieving peace and stability in the world, India was constantly building a terrorist network around Pakistan, India used its territory for terrorism against Pakistan. He allowed them to do so and not only in his own land but also in the vicinity and neighborhood where he found a place, he took advantage and continued to try to invade Pakistan.

"Today we have irrefutable evidence and I am presenting that evidence to the nation and the international community in the form of this dossier. There are many details in this dossier but these details are not complete. We have more details," he said. Are and can be used as needed.

Continuing the conversation, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that for the last three to four months, efforts have been made to revive terrorism, which is being supported again, the latest example of which is the recent attacks in Peshawar and They happened in Quetta and it reflects their big plan.

He said that today India's intelligence agencies are supporting the banned terrorist organizations whose axis is Pakistan such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Baloch Liberation Army, Jamiat-ul-Ahrar, these are the organizations that Pakistan defeated and today among them Attempts are being made to breathe new life into them, supplying them with arms, ammunition and IEDs and inciting them to target clerics, dignitaries and police personnel in Pakistan.

He said that you will be aware that in August 2020, India brought together the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Jamiat-ul-Ahrar and HUA and today they are constantly trying to get the TTP, BLA, Form a joint alliance between the LF and the BRA, which is part of this larger project.

"According to our information, they plan to increase terrorist activities in Pakistan in the coming months, November and December, and one report is that there have been at least four meetings between their agencies and facilitators," he said. In which they will try to focus on attacks on major cities of Pakistan like Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and others.

The Foreign Minister further said that we have undeniable evidence that RAW and DIA, their intelligence agencies, are financing terrorism in Pakistan, training terrorists and harboring them. And taking practical steps to promote terrorism aimed at state terrorism and instability.

He said that this dossier reveals that three Indian countries.

What are the three of them I would like to mention, their first purpose is to disrupt the progress towards peace in Pakistan for which nationalism is encouraged in Gilgit-Baltistan, the former FATA and Balochistan.

He said that the second objective of India was to prevent Pakistan from becoming economically stable and to set the stage for prosperity in our country and the latest example of this was the FATF meeting in which the world was appreciating Pakistan's steps. But India was the only country that was regularly trying to blacklist Pakistan and they were lobbying against Pakistan.

He said that he was trying to create such chaos and unrest here that an uncertain situation would arise which would not lead to economic stability.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India's third goal is political instability through which they want to destabilize the country.

India is directly responsible for the recent unrest in Pakistan

On the occasion, Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director General (DG), Public Relations, ISPR, Pakistan Army, provided some information regarding the dossier issued.

He said that the recent unrest in Pakistan was the result of direct contacts with all terrorist brands, nationalists and separatists in India.

The DG ISPR said that after the reunification of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) after the separation of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Hizb-ul-Ahrar in August 2020, India continued to use the banned separatist groups BLF, BLA in Balochistan. And forming a TTP consortium with the BRA.

He said that these Baloch separatist groups are already united under the banner of Brass, which was formed in 2018.

During the press conference, the DG ISPR said that Colonel Rajesh, an Indian intelligence officer who was employed at the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan, had clearly stated in a letter in Dari that he had four meetings with the commanders of these terrorist groups. There are plans to carry out terrorist attacks in the metropolitan cities of Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar in November and December 2020.

He said it had also been revealed that Indian intelligence agencies were trying to link Pakistan with ISIS by creating ISIS Pakistan. In recent days, 30 Indian ISIS militants have been sent to various camps along the India-Afghanistan and Pakistan border.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that this was done by two intelligence operatives of India. The militants were handed over to ISIS commander Sheikh Abdul Rahim alias Abdul Rehman Muslim Dost.

He said that there was indisputable evidence that Indian embassies and consulates operating along the Pakistani border had become strongholds of terrorists for supporting terrorism against Pakistan. We have evidence of Indian terrorist funding.

He said Indian diplomats in Afghanistan were regularly monitoring various terrorist activities, including the Indian ambassador to Afghanistan and the Indian consul in Jalalabad for providing financial support to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and separatist Baloch groups. For detailed discussions with partners.

He said that the Indian intelligence agency RAW was providing financial support to its frontman in a third country and in this regard they had made two transactions, one of which was to promote terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The transaction was made from an Indian bank and 28,000 thousand was transferred from Punjab Bank India. In addition, a transaction of 55 55,851 was made by an Indian citizen Manmeet in New Delhi and the amount was received at the Afghanistan International Bank.
