India is not in a position to comment on terrorism and atrocities against minorities, the Foreign Office said

Pakistan has once again rejected baseless allegations of mistreatment of minorities and terrorism by India.

A Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman termed the allegations made by his Indian counterpart regarding mistreatment of minorities and terrorism as false and fabricated.

In his statement, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said, "As a perpetrator of blatant state terrorism and continued state discrimination against our minorities in Occupied Kashmir, India is not in a position to comment elsewhere on the issue of minority rights." '

The statement came in response to an Indian statement on the killing of a middle-aged Ahmadi man in Peshawar earlier this week, saying "this incident reflects the plight of minorities in Pakistan." ۔

According to Indian news website The Wire, an Indian spokesman said that one Ahmadi after another was being targeted in Peshawar while the government was trying to provide them with permanent protection and an end to violence against members of their community.

A statement issued by the Pakistani Foreign Office said that India's fabricated allegations would not change the lie into the truth.

He further said that such desperate efforts of India would not be able to divert attention from the failure of its own domestic and foreign policy, if anything like this happened then India as a responsible country Will be further damaged or its reputation will be further weakened.

The Foreign Office spokesperson further said that India should stop using terrorism as a state tool, it should end human rights violations and violence in occupied Kashmir.

He further said that India should resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolution and ensure the protection of minorities in their country as well as their freedom of worship.
