Pakistan has reported 2,829 new cases of the global coronavirus and the total number of people affected has risen to 395,185.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 43 deaths have been reported from Corona in the last 24 hours and the total number of deaths has reached 7,985. In Pakistan, 339,810 Corona victims have recovered and 47,390 are undergoing treatment.
The number of corona cases in Islamabad is 29,782, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 46,877, in Sindh 1,71,595, in Punjab 1,18,511, in Balochistan 17,101, in Azad Kashmir 6,682 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,000. 637 people have been infected with Corona.
The highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 2,979 people have lost their lives. 2,911 people have lost their lives in Sindh, 1,359 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 309 in Islamabad, 97 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 166 in Balochistan, and 164 in Azad Kashmir.
The rate of positive cases of coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 7.20%. Peshawar has the highest rate of positive cases reaching 19.65%. The rate of positive cases in Karachi is 17.73% and in Hyderabad, it is 16.32%. The positive rate is 9.25% in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4.52% in Lahore, 11.49% in Rawalpindi, 17.73% in Karachi, 16.32% in Hyderabad, 9.77% in Quetta, and 10.34% in Corona.
