Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that threats to peace and security must be addressed, adding that the independence movement is being crushed in occupied Kashmir.
According to a private channel, the Foreign Minister, while videotaping the conference of Ministers of Non-Aligned Countries, said that tension and lack of trust between nations has given rise to a new arms race, mutual contradictions are growing and spreading, related to hatred and discrimination. Ideas seem to be flourishing. He said that the threats to cyber security were increasing and the threats to peace and security had to be addressed.
He said that Pakistan was deeply concerned over the situation in Occupied Kashmir, the independence movement was being crushed in Occupied Kashmir and the situation in Palestine was similar to that in Occupied Kashmir.
