Corona virus has intensified in Sindh and the number of positive cases is increasing on a daily basis. In the last 24 hours, two more people have died of corona virus in Sindh province while 339 new cases have been reported and 182 Patients have managed to get rid of the contagious disease.
Explaining the status of Corona virus, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 10615 samples of Corona were tested in the last 24 hours, as a result of which 339 new cases have come to light. As a result of which one lakh 39 thousand 910 cases have come to light in the province so far. He said that today 182 more patients of Corona have recovered and the total number of those who have recovered has reached 132559 today. As a result, 2 more patients have died, bringing the total number of deaths to 2543.
He said that at present 4808 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 4501 patients are undergoing treatment at home, 6 in isolation centers and 301 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. The condition of 187 patients is said to be critical out of which 23 patients are on ventilators. Out of 339 corona cases across the province, 194 new cases are from Karachi in which 75 new cases have been reported from South District 75, East District 70 and Central District 24, Korangi District 12, Malir District 8 and West District 5. Similarly, Shaheed Benazirabad 15, Hyderabad 12, Badin 10, Sujawal 9, Sukkur 7, Jamshoro and Larkana 6-6, Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar 5-5, Qambar and Matiari 4-4, Khairpur, Shikarpur and Umerkot 2-2, Ghotki, 1-1 new cases have come to light in Kashmore and Nowshero Feroz.
