In India, a greedy woman sold her young grandson for a few bucks.
According to Indian media, the incident took place in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh where the grandmother made a deal with her youngest grandson to become rich.
Police say a woman named Ram Piari abducted her grandson a few days ago and sold him for Rs 10,000.
When the search for the baby began, it was discovered that the kidnapper was his grandmother who had lured the 4-month-old baby and sold it to someone.
Police also traced the baby buyers, and those involved, including the grandmother, pleaded guilty.
Police said that legal action is being taken against those who sold and bought the child. They have been arrested and will be produced before the court.
