The Prime Minister's Office said that a special team should be appointed for monitoring the prices at the motorway rest areas, banners should be hung at the motorway rest areas for the awareness of passengers and tourists, and steps should also be taken in the rest areas for raising awareness on citizen portal.
The Prime Minister's Office has directed the concerned authorities to submit a preliminary report within 21 days. The Prime Minister's Office also said that a comparative report should be submitted before and after the completion of the measures.
