Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that it is great news for Pakistan that we are finally moving in the right direction.
In his statement on Wednesday, Imran Khan said that with a surplus of 73 73 million in September, the current account had a surplus of 79 792 million for the first quarter, compared to a deficit of 14 1492 million during the same period last year.
He said that exports increased by 2% during the last month while remittances increased by 9%.
Meanwhile, Chairman WAPDA Lieutenant General (retd) Muzammil Hussain called on Imran Khan. During the meeting, Chairman WAPDA gave a detailed briefing on the progress of work on Diamer Bhasha Dam and Mohmand Dam.
Imran Khan was also received by Chairman Prime Minister's Inspection Commission Ahmad Yar Hiraj and Special Assistant for Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi.
