A terrible fire broke out in a multi-storey building in South Korea which engulfed the entire building.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, a fire broke out in a 33-storey building in Dol Dong district of Busan city in southeastern South Korea at 11:07 pm local time in an apartment on the 12th floor which engulfed the entire building. Taken
According to the report, there are 136 flats in the building. Firefighters rushed to the spot after the fire broke out and rescue operations were launched to evacuate the occupants from the building.
The footage showed clouds of smoke rising from the building, the report said, adding that fire department officials were working to contain the blaze.
According to local media, the intensity of the fire is increasing due to high wind pressure in the area. Due to the winds, the fire engulfed the nearby shopping center.
According to the Alsan Fire Department, 15 people were rushed to the hospital and 43 residents were taken to the roof, where they are being cared for by specialist staff.
According to the report, fortunately no casualties were reported due to the fire. Medical aid is being provided to 15 people affected by the fire in the hospital.
