Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hamad Azhar has said that after the arrival of imported sugar, its price will come down by Rs 15 per kg.
Addressing a press conference, Hamad Azhar said that 55,000 tonnes of sugar has arrived in Pakistan from abroad while one to 200,000 tonnes more sugar will reach Pakistan in a few days. After that, the price of sugar will come down to Rs 15 per kg.
He said that the increase in the price of sugar would be overcome soon and if more sugar had to be imported, we would do so.
