A private school in Peshawar was sealed for non-implementation of Corona-related SOPs, while children were punished for standing in the sun for an hour. Assistant Commissioner Habibullah sealed off the children for not taking precautionary measures against the corona virus, while the children were kept in the sun for an hour with their bags on their shoulders.
There was also an altercation between the school teacher and the assistant commissioner over keeping the children standing in the sun as punishment. The school teacher said that it was inhumane to put children in the sun.
On the other hand, the Assistant Commissioner is of the view that only the school has been sealed for violating SOPs and no child has been punished.
