In Saudi Arabia, a foreign national was found guilty of adulterating petrol.
According to details, the Ministry of Commerce took action against a Bangladeshi worker for selling Malouti petrol and arrested him. The court sentenced the convict to a fine and six months imprisonment.
According to Saudi media, Hussein Mia, a Bangladeshi activist in the Al-Majma'ah area, had been selling diesel mixed with petrol for some time. He pleaded guilty.
The court sentenced him to a fine, six months imprisonment and deportation after completion of his sentence.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the worker will be blacklisted based on a court order and will not be able to return to Saudi Arabia on any visa.
Authorities have decided that the man will also face publicity in local newspapers for violating trade laws. Violations of trade laws could result in up to three years in prison and a fine of up to 1 million riyals.
