The Saudi government has restored an online communication system with the recruiting agency for the recruitment of domestic workers for the convenience of citizens.
According to a foreign news agency, the Saudi Minister of Manpower and Social Welfare Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi has restored the system of mediation in connection with the online import of domestic workers, which is being implemented from October 7, 2020.
In this regard, according to Saudi media, the Saudi minister said that the recruiting agencies will be obliged to provide domestic workers within 120 days.
He said that in case of delay, the 30-day extension would be done under the automated system but the recruiting agency would have to pay a penalty of 15 per cent of the contract amount for a delay of more than 120 days.
