Saudi Arabia has said it strongly condemns blasphemous sketches of the Prophet Muhammad or any other prophet of peace. According to Al-Arabiya Urdu, Saudi Arabia also rejected attempts to link Islam to terrorism.
According to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Saudi Arabia condemns any act of terrorism, regardless of the perpetrator. The state emphasizes that intellectual and cultural freedom must be subject to respect, tolerance and peace. All acts and practices that give rise to hatred, violence and extremism that undermine the mutual survival and alternative respect among the nations of the world must be eradicated.
